71 Ladywell Road, Ladywell SE13, 3rd May.
An impromtu set that soon turned the eyes of passers-by. I knew that this location is perfectly ideal. Situated outside of the delicatessen my first punters were a couple of teenagers. Then a coouple of Coventry fans engaged in highly intellectual conversation about the problems of football, whilst a bit later a freak or two who thought he was God even chopped up some apples. I had no time to prepare anything, but as events go in May I had to purchase a massive box of apples, probably of foreign origin, for a measly £8 from down Lewisham market. On these transcendent days and events everything flows like oil.
